I wanted to share with you this pretty Barbie top that I made last week. It is really simple and it can be customized to fit any doll. Materials ~ Tatting thread size 40 0.85mm hook Snap on button I started off with a rectangular piece that will run across the chest. Fc ~ ch 11 R1 to R80 ~ 10 sc You can place your piece around the doll to make sure it overlaps a little so you can sew on a button later. once you are happy with the length, rotate and work 1 row of sc arcoss the edge of the rows on one side. For the lace I used this crochet shell stitch pattern from MyPicot.com. I have repeated the pattern 8 times, and made 3 rows. If you want a crop top you can stop with 2 rows. Next sew on the button, put it on the doll and mark the places where you want to join the sleeve. I made the sleeve by making 2 smaller rectangular pieces. First things first! I'm a hardcore Marvel fan. My friend is a huge DC fan! He asked me to make something for him. Ss here we are! Let's get to the pattern without further talking... Amigurumi Rubik's Cube - Free Pattern

Sometime back a friend had requested me to make him a little Rubix's Cube. After looking through many resources I was not really happy with any of them. So I decided to make my own! The only stitch you need to know is the SC. Materials: Thread - Embroidery floss in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, white & black [2 skeins each] Hook - 1.25mm steel hook Pattern for the square: - make one in each color FC - ch 20 R1 - sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each of the remaining chs [19 sc] R2 to R18 - ch1 turn, sc in each sc. [19 sc] For this pattern, count the turning ch as a stitch, so we can divide them equally. Using black, sl st vertical & horizontal lines. Join them in the order shown below. It's easier to tihs after sewing in all the tails. You can slip stitch them or sew them together. Stuff it with some doll stuffing before joining the last side.
