Hello all you happy hookers!!! Today I will be sharing the pattern for this sweet little mermaid. I think I will call her Becky. She measures 8 inches from head to fin. I havn't added a face because I like her just the way she is. Let's get hooking.

Pattern Notes ~
* The entire doll is worked in BLO in continuous rounds unless mentioned otherwise.
* The doll is worked wrong side out.
* Once we start working in continuous rounds the pattern only has numbers.
* The numbers without any symbols denote even stitches. You work 1 sc in each stitch
* The numbers with "inc" denote increases. You work 2sc in each stitch.

* The numbers with "dec" denote decreases. You work 2sc together.
* The number before the "inc" & "dec" denote how many times you need to increase or decrease.
* Example: “3, 2dec, 3”. This means - make 1sc in each of the next 3 stitches, [sc 2 together] x 2, make 1sc in each of the next 3 stitches.
* I prefer invisible decreases as they do not leave a bump on the project.
* The number in brackets at the end of each round are the total number of stitches you must have. I recommend counting each round before going to the next round.

You can find the video tutorial here. For the tutorial, I have used 4ply acrylic yarn with a 3.25mm hook. Here's the doll I made for the tutorial. This doll measures 12.5 inches from head to toe. If you want to make a larger doll, please use some wire to support the head as the neck is too flimsy.
I hope you enjoyed making this doll. If you have any questions regarding this pattern post them in the comments section. You may sell the items made out of this pattern, but do credit me as the designer.
