Back Post DC

Hello Fellow Hookers! In this lesson, we will see how to make the Back Post DC [BPDC]. If you havn't been through the previous lessons, you can find them here.

The back post dc is similar to the front post dc. Instead of grabbing the post from the front, we grab it from the back! And like the fpdc, here too the turning chain is a chain 2.

Step 1 ~ yo

Step 2 ~ insert the hook into the work between the stitches from the back, and go back again, so that you have grabbed the post from the back.

This is how it looks from the back.

Step 3 ~ yo and pull up a loop

We will now have 3 loops on the hook.

Step 4 ~ complete the dc normally.

This is how we make the back post dc. The front post dc and back post dc are reversable. That is ~ the wrong side of the front post dc looks like the right side of the back post dc.
